PRAIA DO AMADO
Located in the Costa Vicentina Natural Park on the west coast, Praia do Amado is one of the most famous surfing beaches in the Algarve. Known for its consistent waves and beautiful scenery, it hosts several surfing competitions throughout the year. But not only the most experienced come here as there are also surf schools that teach how to practice this sport.

ARRIFANA
Another gem in the western Algarve, Arrifana offers reliable surf and bodyboard conditions in a stunning cliff-backed cove. It's suitable for surfers of all levels, though it can get quite crowded.

CARRAPATEIRA

SAGRES AND VILA DO BISPO
This southwestern tip of Portugal is a magnet for surfers due to its exposed position catching Atlantic swells from multiple directions. Sagres has several beaches offering different types of waves, making it a versatile surf destination.
