BENAMOR GOLF

Opened in 2000 and designed by Sir Henry Cotton, Benamor Golf is located just outside Tavira and is known for its friendly atmosphere and well-maintained greens. The course offers a variety of challenges suitable for all levels of golfers. It features rolling terrain, well-placed bunkers, and strategic water hazards, all set against the backdrop of the stunning Algarve countryside.

Facilities: Benamor includes a driving range, putting and chipping areas, and a well-stocked pro shop. The clubhouse is renowned for its hospitality and offers a restaurant with excellent local cuisine.

QUINTA DA RIA & QUINTA DE CIMA

These two sister courses are situated in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, providing spectacular views and a serene golfing environment. Quinta da Ria, a par-72 course, is the more scenic of the two, with several holes offering views of the Atlantic Ocean. Quinta de Cima, also a par-72, is designed as a championship course and presents a tougher challenge with its longer layout and numerous strategic hazards.

Facilities: Both courses have excellent practice facilities, including driving ranges and putting greens. Their clubhouses serve regional dishes and offer comfortable spaces for relaxation after a round.

Located a bit further from Santa Luzia, Monte Rei is a premium golf destination designed by Jack Nicklaus. This course is consistently ranked as one of the best in Portugal and offers a world-class golfing experience. Although a bit of a drive from Santa Luzia, Castro Marim’s 27 holes offer diverse play that will suit all abilities. The courses are set in a hilly terrain that mixes coastal and mountainous landscapes, providing both beauty and a test of golf skills.
